  • 1984–1987 Qualification as state-recognized nurse at the Marien Hospital in Gelsenkirchen
  • 1995–1997 Specialized continuing education in Intensive Nursing, University Hospital Basel, Schweiz
  • 1998–2001 Studies in Nursing and Health Science at the University of Applied Sciences in Aargau, Schweiz
  • 2001–2005 Bachelor of Nursing Science at the University of Basel, Schweiz
  • 1988–2007 Working in direct care and from 2020-2022 in the context of the Corona pandemic supporting the intensive care unit at the University Hospi-tal Basel, Switzerland.
