Kunsttherapie mit ukrainischen Geflüchteten

Ein besonderes Kunstprojekt realisierten 19 Studierende aus Sozialer Arbeit und Heilpädagogik gemeinsam mit bolivianischen Austauschstudierenden und Teilnehmenden der Wissenschaftlichen Weiterbildung Kunsttherapie des IWW: In der Landeserstaufnahmestelle (LEA) und im Garten von Campus II leiteten sie aus der Ukraine geflüchtete Familien kunsttherapeutisch an. Dabei entstanden handwerklich und spielerisch zahlreiche Kunstwerke ‘rund ums Ei’.  
Das Projekt fand am 21. und 22. April zwei Tage vor dem orthodoxen Osterfest Pascha statt und knüpfte an österliche Bräuche an. Für die vom Krieg bedrohten und belasteten Menschen bot das kunsttherapeutische Angebot gemeinsame Momente der Kreativität, Aktivität und des Spiels.
Die Leitung des Projekts lag bei den Professorinnen Monika Wigger und Ruth Hampe.

“Anfangs war ich sehr aufgeregt, denn ich hatte bislang noch keine Erfahrung mit Flüchtlingskindern. Wenn Menschen zusammentreffen, um sich gemeinsam auf ein Prozess einzulassen, gibt es keinen Grund zur Aufregung.

“Considering the recent events in Ukraine and the new reality for their people, I could see that the activity was successful because the families were sharing a safe space together. Besides not being able to speak the same language we found ways to share the activity with them and build a picture together.
What touched me the most was to interact with kids from different nationalities at LEA, having the opportunity to be with the kids with different backgrounds and asking myself more questions about how that could influence their current behavior.“ (Johana Ontiveros)
